Calls for PR dominate Labour manifesto consultation

Analysis of responses to Labour's manifesto consultation by Labour for a New Democracy has confirmed that Proportional Representation for general elections remains a central and overwhelming demand of the Labour membership.

44% of local parties' submissions to all six policy commissions - which between them cover all policy areas - were pro-PR. This is an unprecedented level of support for any single policy issue.
